Good news for residents of Akwa Ibom! The state’s Agency for Community and Social Development has announced the second phase of its AK-CARES intervention program, set to empower 1,055 individuals with N150,000 grants each. This marks a significant increase from the first phase, which saw 353 beneficiaries receive N100,000 grants.
This initiative aims to provide much-needed financial support to individuals between 18 and 40 years old, with a focus on industrious individuals and prioritizing 60% participation from women. The grants can be used for a variety of purposes,such as starting or expanding small businesses, investing in skills development, or covering essential needs.
