Bayero University Kano , BUK Application Requirement And Portal
You are highly welcome to Bayero University. The university was initially established in 1964 as a humanity-based institution (Abdullahi Bayero College) with only ten students (awarded Ahmadu Bello University degrees), it changed into Bayero University in 1976 awarding its own degrees.
Join us in BUK to study the course of your choice. There are about thirty four thousand undergraduate students enrolled currently in the university.
Several courses offered with different durations say four, five years and more.
Application Requirement
This category of applicants must have Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
Depending on additional qualification possed by an applicant, there are three ways to apply.

Prospective candidates must have sat for the UTME Examinations, chose BUK as her/his first choice, and must have scored an aggregate of 180 or higher in the relevant subjects as advertised in the UME Brochure.
Prospective candidates are required to have a minimum of Five (5) relevant passes at Credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the National Examinations Council (NECO) in not more than two (2) sittings, including a pass at credit level in English.
