BSU Postgraduate Admission Requirements
High School Level Requirements:
1. Passing grades in English and mathematics are necessary for all courses.
2. Psychology applicants should have at least a passing grade in biology or health sciences.
3. For programs in English, Languages & Linguistics, Theatre Arts, and Law, a passing grade in O’ Level Literature is compulsory.
4. Management Science courses and Economics require a passing grade in Economics.
5. IMB O’ Level Credit Passes in mathematics and English can replace the SSCE or GCE O’ Level English passing grade.
6. NCE An English major is considered equivalent to an O’ Level Literature passing grade.
7. NCE Use of English may substitute for an O’Level English passing grade.
8. ‘A’ Level Passes are considered higher than O’ Level Passes.

How To Apply for Benue State University Postgraduate Admission Form
1. Visit the Benue State University Postgraduate admission portal at https://pg.bsum.edu.ng/
2. Click on the “Register Now” button to create a new account or log in if you already have an account.
3. Fill in your personal details, educational background, and other necessary information.
4. Upload scanned copies of your academic credentials, passport photograph, and other required documents.
5. Generate a payment reference number and pay the application fee online.
6. After payment, print out the confirmation page and application form.
7. Submit the completed application form and all required documents to the school’s postgraduate office.
Important Notice:
- Late applications start 30 days from the date of the advertisement and incur an additional charge of N5,000.00.
- Guidelines for Filling Out the Application Forms:
- Provide complete and accurate information on the application form.
- Clearly state the intended course of study and any specialization.
- Official transcripts from former universities must be sent directly to the Postgraduate School.
