2024 UTME : Jamb announces the exact date for registration, exam
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board,JAMB, has revealed the registration date for its 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME begins on January 15,2024 and ends on February 16,2024.
Similarly, the board, in a statement on Wednesday, said it has fixed March 7,2024 for its 2024 MOCK-UTME, while the main UTME will hold from April 19 to 29,2024.
In the statement released by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin,the board explained that the dates were fixed “based on the series of recommendations emanating from a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat held between 26th and 28th, November, 2023,”
According to JAMB,”Candidates are expected to print their examination slips as from 10th April, 2024.”
The statement read in full:”Based on the series of recommendations emanating from a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat held between 26th and 28th, November, 2023, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB), has fixed 15th January to 26th February, 2024, for the sale of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application document.
“Meanwhile, 7th March, 2024, has been slated for the 2024 MOCK-UTME, while the main UTME will hold from 19th to 29th April, 2024.
“Candidates are expected to print their examination slips as from 10th April, 2024.
How To Register For JAMB Registration 2024
- Setup Jamb Email
The first steps to register for jamb 2024 utme is to create JAMB email or Gmail, to those ones who has there own email can used it for the registration.

- Buying Epin via Remita
- Go to Nigeria Post Office (NIPOST)
- Paying with ATM

HOW TO PAY FOR JAMB E-PIN ON REMITA
- Visit login.remita.net/remita
- For UTME, select ‘Sales of JAMB/UTME Registration Forms’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose’ column
- For Direct Entry (DE), select ‘Sales of JAMB/DE Registration Forms’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose’ column
- Enter your registered phone number (the one on which you received the confirmation code)
- Enter other details and select how you want to pay
- Submit
- After payment, your PIN is delivered to your phone number and also displayed on your Remita receipt.
E-PIN ONLINE PAYMENT ON JAMB PORTAL:

- Click Purchase of Application Document
- Enter your Profile Code.

JAMB Registration At CBT Centres
- Provide Biodata like DOB, Nationality, State of Origin, LGA, e-Mail, etc
- Provide choice of institutions and programs (disciplines)
- Provide qualification with grades and dates, if not awaiting result
- Upload Waec/Neco/GCE/etc certificates, if not awaiting result
- O/L and or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates.
